A Place for the Forgotten is a game created in 48 hours for the Lightbox Academy GameJam 2018. The main theme of this jam was "imperfect geometries". 

Our story begins with a happy monkey and his pirate captain. During a terrible storm, the captain fell in the deep waters of the sea while the monkey was able to survive.  Scared and miserable, the monkey decided to jump inside the kingdom of death to bring the captain back to life.

As you may see, while the captain is alive, both her and the monkey have very rounded and polished lineart. However, the kingdom of death is pure chaos and all shapes feel weird and imperfect.

Join the monkey through multiple rooms of an enchanted pirate ship. The only problem is, there is no light! The only moment you will be able to see what's inside each room   is when the thunder strikes. So be careful and remember where each enemy is located, cause you'll need to cross the room in total darkness!

Move you character with the keyboard arrows or use the mouse to click and drag.
